1. More sensitive

It is empowered with the High Performance Liquid Chromatography – Tandem Mass Spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS) technology, which has a sensitivity up to picogram level in one milligram of hair (pg/mg). This is more sensitive than the conventional method Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS).


2. Wider detection window

Depends on the individual’s metabolite rate, it can usually detect drug abuse or chemical intake history for up to several months (approximately 90 days) in which the detection window is wider than other testing methods including blood, urine and saliva test.


3. Detect more chemicals

It can detect more substances than other drug testing methodology, for example, Ketamine, which is not covered by most testing methods.


4. Low risk of adulteration

The detecting level of hair testing is not affected by external factors, for example, drinking a large amount of water. Also, hair samples are treated with a validated cleaning process and metabolites would be quantified for confirmation of direct consumption of parent drugs. These result in more accurate results.


5. Easy sample collection

Procedures of hair sample collection are convenient and less invasive and unlike other methods, cause no embarrassment.
